The best thing Cox did was jump into and hurt Gawn. He finally used his mass like the way Plugger did. He kneed Gawn in a marking contest and then jumped into and onto him in the ruck contest that resulted in his goal. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

The Pickett smother on Moore then goal, pretty it sure happens *before* the umpire has called play on. Should have been 50, Moore hadn't really left his line either.
On the other side Ginnivan's cheap interference with Brayshaw on the goalline in the last should have been no goal. Stupid. _________________ Get back on top. |

Just watching the replay.
Who has the flag in the cheer squad that says "Did someone say KFC" with a picture of the Colonel Sanders wearing a Collingwood jumper??
Whoever it is. Burn it. Burn it now. Seriously. |

Pendles was involved in SO many. Absolute champion.
There were times when he looked like the Pendles of old - where the play seemed to go into slo-mo, whenever he gathered the ball. |
Yeah, that's why I gave him "5" in the "GB Medal Votes". |

Agree Donny, and MTG. Pendlebury is the Einstein of football. When he takes possession of the ball, time dilates. Happened several times in this game.
Made some mistakes, which during the game thread a few posters commented on. But hey, Einstein made a couple of mistakes as well. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

Might have been an error on Moore's part, but it was an error borne of the absolute imperative to attack. What I was amazed by was, first the incredible mindset that our whole team now has to attack as a priority, but also by the fact that even after the error occurred and Pickett goaled, this made absolutely no difference to the mindset of aggression and risk taking. There was no recoiling into a shell. Fantastic coaching, fantastic buy in from the entire team. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

I'd suggest that Einstein's mistakes were relatively minor. |

Agree that Pickett goal should have been a 50 m penalty to us Moore had only took the mark and only took 1 step forward and was setting up another kick up field the smoother occurred before umpire blew whistle for a mark should be a 50m any day
First half was ridiculous umpiring of non paid marks to Collingwood too and blantant holding on that were never paid either
Thought was only final quarter the umpiring was just ok |

Also a couple of times where he just looked old, never seen him get caught like that..... not having a crack but we need to carefully nurse the remains of his career, enjoy the good times but be realistic about what he should be expected to contribute |

Agree with both these observations.
*With the benefit of hindsight* Moore could have shaped to kick, then pointed to Pickett being inside the protected zone and he would have been paid 50m. Truth is however, that umpires don't often (if ever) award 50 once the player with the ball has played on. _________________ It's never as good/nor bad as it seems... |

Hearing from others that we got lucky with Gawn getting injured, but to be honest it was an even contest β our missed opportunities when we dominated in the first was the issue, we straightened them up. |
