It's hard to assess, really. We just beat GWS for the first time in 4 years without him and his record against them since then has been very poor. On the other hand, he probably would have had Chugg's 2 kicks, 3 handballs and 53% game time covered. |

WHE was awesome today!!!
Best game for the club in 4 years. He controlled and dominated his wing all day. Hit ups, linking chains, crucial marks. He presented all day and stayed involved for 4 qtrs.
Just thought I'd give credit where it was due as he is much maligned. |
Agree. Beat me to it. Reckon he has been pretty alright a lot of this year... |

| I think our goal accuracy is a victim of our success. We move the ball so quickly going forward, we’re getting a rush of blood to the head. It can be manic and I’m hoping when the young guns get more experience they’ll start to lower their eyes more often. |

I had to duck out at 3qt & I thought yeah, we’re good to go here.
I only saw the 3rd quarter & was happy with what I saw.
Come home after the game finished & the better half says we only won by 11 😮
Thank fk a blessing really, my blood pressure would’ve sky rocketed watching it live.
We won & we move on to next week.

What makes this victory even sweeter, is the fact that apparently this was the strongest GWS team, they have fielded for some time, their best side on the track, according to commentators. So, thats pretty good hey.

He has been very good for the past 6 games or so. V Melbourne he was huge. McRae has him playing a role now and he is doing very well. Dare say he is one of the first picked. MASSIVE turnaround.

Very similar to the West Coast game. They kicked virtually every goal they tried for, we missed far too many easy ones and kept them hopeful. Some days not much luck goes your way and you are lucky to win. This was that kind of day. We’ll take it.

We need a big forward to compliment Checkers and the only way for that to occur is to give something up.

100 m penalty was correct. Deliberate for mine was correct on the replay but you don’t always see them called.

No they cheat. They've grown up all their lives hating Collingwood and subconsciously they will rule against us whenever they get the chance. Seriously why defend these incompetent fools. Watch the NFL and see how football games should be adjudicated. |
19-20. Hardly a landslide, as close to 50:50 as you can be without being even... From memory we are in the top third for free kick differentials this year. No truth to “always”.

Let’s put some perspective into things.
We are 2 games from top of the ladder.
We were given no hope at the beginning of the year.
We don’t really have a forward line, and the one we do is a mixture of Elliot, who hasn’t played a lot of footy last few years, couple developing young forwards in Ginnivan and Henry, plus a forward who played most of his career as a fullbacker.
We also had one of the worst weeks the clubs gone through and we still beat a side full of first round draft picks.
Let’s just enjoy the moment.
