From 9 months ago.

This 'decider' Test is due to start tonight (7.30 our time) at Edgbaston.

Was originally called off as India couldn't field a team, due to Covid.

Indians: No Ashwin, Rahul or Rohit.

No idea of injuries for the ones left out.

I know times change but whatever happened to the old Test/FC adage of 'When you win the toss, 9 times out of 10 you bat. For the other time, you think about it ... and bat' ?

What a gutsy cricketer Rishabh Pant has become - in all 3 facets of the modern game.

Came to the crease, today, with India 4/71. As I type, he's 86 n.o. from 80 balls.

His partnership with Ravindra Jadeja (41*) is 121 unfinished.
