A massive opportunity to capitalise on some unexpected results this round.
Although it will be wet and probably not a great spectacle, I expect us to continue with our team first attitude.

Well the rain has stopped and Metricon is a sand based well draining oval.
I wouldn’t be taking on any bets that total under 128 points @$2.80 more like $3.50 would be tempting. _________________ no second chances |

Flying from Palermo back to Paris - a tough gig but someone’s got to do it! I land just in time to watch the game. I’m tipping a hard slog but the Pies to get up by 17 pts! Nick Daicos BOG with 33 disposals! Go Pies!!! |

If we restrict them to 35 we would need 110, that would just get us above the scum. _________________ Cheers big ears |

After Sydney's defeat, 6th spot is up for grabs so huge opportunity for the team to capitalise.
Howe's a significant loss, but I have faith we'll be able to cover his absence.
Fantastic to see JDG return, and good to see Ruscoe given a chance. Always had a soft spot for Trey, so I hope he makes the most of this opportunity.
Going to be a close one. Suns are a solid outfit, so need to bring our best to beat them. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

Just like last week with a number of 8pt games in play another great opportunity has been presented to us after a couple of unexpected losses this round.
A win would give us a sniff of an unlikely top 4 finish and start to cement our place within the top 8.
Not going to be easy though against an ever improving Gold Coast side and no Howe makes me nervous. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

Loss of Howe is significant. Up to Moore and Murphy and Trey Ruscoe to cover the absence. They have beaten Carlton and Fremantle up at Metricon, so that would explain why we are not favourites to win. I am nervous, as always. But this team is building massive self-belief, and I am believing as well. Good luck in particular to JDG, welcome back! Go Pies!!
...just found out that this is a milestone game for IQ as well, his 50th game. Hope he celebrates it with a brilliant game, including a running goal!

This is going to be a tough match, these buggers have a heap of early draft picks, up on their own pissing ground. No beg pardons here, any win will do, just any win, just get the job done. Go Woods. !! _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.
