| All out 255. Follow-on enforced. Hazlewood took 4/48, Cummins 3/60, Lyon 2/88, Head 1/21. It does make you wonder why Agar would get a game ahead of Boland. I suppose it might be defensible if he takes 6 for 3 in the next 4 hours or so. |

Was a bad decision, anyway.
Both Boland and Agar could've played. Absolutely no need to play Renshaw. Carey at 6, Agar at 7 - against this oppo - looked strong. Esp. as they'd be coming in after Khawaja, Labu, Smith and Head.

| Going to be interesting Cummins explaining that to Khawaja. It might be the only time in his career that SpecialK has a chance to hit a 200 and the captain tossed him overboard for a ridiculously slim chance of victory - sometimes, leadership in cricket - as in life - means recognising that not everything is about winning. A dumb call like the declaration can cost the captain the trust of a whole generation of players. |
