Have 2 brothers - in the same team and match - ever both topped the 30 disposal mark before today ?

No Cameron, no Cox, no JDG and no Grundy. Marvellous.

I think Ross Lyon should be fined for bringing the game into disrepute for his dour game plan (2010 all over again with a few tweaks)

Magnificent.

Murphy is marvellous.

Can Ginnivan and Hill play in the same team? Sh*t yeah!

Go Pies.

Same old St Kilda; 150 years of cheat shots off the ball.

There seems to be a tendency for opposition backs to drive Elliott's head into the ground at every opportunity. The cheap shot by Caminetti on Murphy should see that player get weeks- 70 metres off the ball.

St Kilda got their first goal from a free against Murphy then two more from 50 metre penalties. Wilkie almost decapitated Mihocek just before half time- "Play on"...

Without Howe, Cameron, Cox, Lipinski, De Goey and McStay off early, one would have been expecting a loss, but this team has some heart.

It is important for our side to continue to play to our strengths- we will take on Essendon on ANZAC Day who are also trying to be aggressive with ball use. This will suit the Pies.

I think that we will see the synergy between Hill, McCreery, Elliott and Ginnivan continue to grow in the weeks to come. Ash Johnson and Mihocek will be critical by either marking the ball or bringing it to the ground.

Expect the Daicos boys to continue their phenomenal form supported by Mitchell, De Goey, Crisp, Sidebottom and Pendlebury.

A word of praise to Hoskin-Elliott who overcame a week in bed to play a key role this evening. I think he gets far more bad press than he actually deserves. Ditto for Quaynor who was imperious in the back half and showed a positive return to form.

Expecting two changes for next week:

Outs McStay (inj) and Wilson (Omitted)
Ins: McInnes and De Goey

Finn MacRae must come in as the Sub- his form in the VFL has been
excellent.

Beat me to it....you can take the St Kilda out of a thug, but you can't take the thug out of St Kilda

It was a 4 or 5 goal win until Murphy got clobbered off the ball. Against the most in-form team in the comp, this was a great win.

I was particularly impressed by Frampton in the ruck. He's got the job for the next month I reckon. Murphy gets better week by week.

The Daicos bros were fantastic and Pendles was magnificent...again.

A gutsy win, especially after losing McStay and then Murphy. Go Pies!

Is Murphy concussed and therefore a forced out for Anzac Day?

From John Ralph:

@RalphyHeraldSun Collingwood says Nathan Murphy will miss Anzac Day with concussion. It doesn’t help Caminiti at all at the MRO. It is the latest in a long line of concussions for Murphy. Not sure how that factors into the grading. Caminiti reacted to a push but clearly hit Murphy high

Don't underestimate that win.
it was extraordinary.
The mental toughness, the refusal to give in was just massive.
This team just has the will to power on, whatever the arrows of fate.
So pathetic how the Fox commentators praised St Kilda's efforts and ignored the achievement of our team.
Our pressure and sheer refusal to lose this game, overwhelmed the Saints. In the last few minutes, we took the foot off the pedal prematurely, but we will learn from that.
A wonderful victory for the Pies against the odds.
Frampton and Murphy were heroic.

So how would you describe Hills three goals and goal assist to Ginnivan in a low scoring game ?

Caminetti strikes Murphy with an elbow or forearm to the chin well off the play.

Murphy concussed- Caminetti should get 4 weeks- minimum.
