So at the halfway mark we sit 11-1, a game clear on top with the highest percentage, not playing our best and some on here aren't happy. What else do you want? |

Was a nice percentage booster in the end.
Port missed a big opportunity to close in on ours. _________________ Sydney Collingwood Supporters Club

Agreed DTM. Exactly how I felt with the win especially re: JDG and the injuries. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

Jumped between the radio broadcasts, and if you didn’t know the score you’d swear that WC had won 😡

Lol yep!
As for the there goes DeGoeys Brownlow surely it’s nicks for the stumps to steal! |
Until the umpires give JDG max votes each week as he can’t win to take them away from Nick.
Don’t know what radio station I had on, haven’t worked out what they are in the country 😂😂 but they had WC winning the game in the 3rd talking up how they’ve got the momentum, how Collingwood beating WC in 2005 was the last time last beat first and how Collingwood hasn’t been tested like this yet!
Got to a tv for the last qtr so no idea how they handled the disappointment. | it was the same in the game day thread, the usual suspects doing their thing. Now crickets here. I swear some people have no idea. |
Oh get over it! What a flog.
Of course we are happy with the win. But we get few style points. We are a lazy team because it took our worst two quarter stretch of the year to finally wake the sleeping giant in the last.
Pity next week is not the bye. |

He and Ash are a great combination in the forward line now. They have good synergy happening. |
Yep. Even Gary Lyon was saying Checkers for All Australian. He is the hardest working forward in the game. |

Next week we come to play. You're the one who had no backbone during the game. You have no idea about the game and just spew shit. |

Yeah, a very flat hollow feeling after this win, it came at great cost.
JDG will be a massive out for at least the next 3 games.
Let's hope injuries to WHE and AJ are not significant.
Let's hope Beau's injury is not serious.
Loss of Sidey is huge to our fluency and ball movement. I felt that he was badly missed today.
Nick Daicos is a miraculous player. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

A good win. I get that some are a bit flat given that the Eagles dominated about a quarter of the game, but the way they were playing just wasn't sustainable. You could tell they were completely shot in the last quarter.
It reminded me of the 2011 season, where Collingwood would build up a lead, the other team would spend all their tickets trying to get back in the game and then get their doors blown off in the last.
The biggest concern is probably the form of the small forwards. McReery hasn't got a kick for weeks (yes, I know he got injured) and Ginnivan was just dreadful. _________________ "We ain't gotta dream no more" |

Interesting break down of the scores during the game.First and last quarters 10 goals 6 to us.Five points to them.Second and third quarters.8 goals 6 to us 8 goals 4 to them.
We definitely have a snooze for a couple of quarters during games, and it’s usually the second and third quarters. It’s happening too often in games to be a coincidence.I think this is becoming a deliberate strategy by the team to pace themselves and to conserve energy, not only during the game ,but for the rest of the season as well.
