Well, we had many players below par today. There must've been something amiss with Pendles.
It's a miracle really that we only lost by 4 points.
Huge games from Darcy Moore and IQ.
Naicos should've been played more in the forward line...they needed help. |

Overrated?
We were slaughtered. Only bad kicking kept it close. Dees were a 6 goals better team.

Beaten solidly for all but maybe 20 minutes.
Melbourne are a good side. Expected to drop this one especially with that fwd line against the big dees defence.
McStay will make a difference.
Boys deserve a break now. 11-2, can’t ask for much more.

We don’t have a premiership quality forward line at the moment, that’s for sure.
At full strength we walk this one in. Ah well, sh!t happens. Played poorly and only lost by 4 points. Fly’s right, have to play the minutes to beat us.

| Gees we could have almost punched that in the end.Mitchell definitely should have got a feee kick at the last centre bounce and who knows what would have happened.Still it would have been highway robbery if we had won,because we’ were poor for most of the match.Missed Sidebottom,Degoey and Elliott so badly today, |

Agreed it's all about being at our peak form wise and physically on that last day in September. |
