With a flag comes less opportunities in draft position so yes if Adams and Wright can reach an amicable agreement then it helps both parties
He will always be highly regarded by teammates ,coaching staff and the Army _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

Longmire has been there far too long, his coaching style is as boring as batshit, good luck Tay, you are gonna need it, very different game style to the exciting one under Fly. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

^ also has to do with the make up of the team a little too I think. Without knowing their list very well, I don’t think they have guys like Sidebottom and Pendlebury who are going to get picked every week as 30+ legends. If we had a younger group of mids, perhaps Adams might take your approach and “back himself in”, but there’s an element of practicality there too.
Be fascinating to see how they handle Steele, Pendles and Howe over the next couple years too. _________________ It's never as good/nor bad as it seems... |

^ I think you may find Howie retires pre season, after a long break, and who can blame him. ? His broken arm was shocking injury, may always be a concern for him, especially if he breaks it again. He has his premiership medal, hes done it all, so it may be for the best if he calls it a day, he owes us nothing now. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

^Not best for us! Love watching this bloke play and yet another of our veterans that had an outstanding finals series! The Moore/Murphy/Howe combo is first class. |

Wish Taylor well in sydney.
Win for Pies is that we get a chance to develop our future.
Win win but Collingwood won out at the end. |

Whilst I agree with the sentiment, seems we keep delisting all the kids, with the exception of....

He's the only certainty, and I'd hope Carmichael sees more time in the 22.
Harrison may or may not make the grade...
I'm not against rookie listing Bianco either.
Both Browns got cut at end of 2022, and they didn't do much wrong either... _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

Wonder if the Swans would give their pick 11 for Tay and our pick 18? _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Graham Wright was firm this morning on AFL Trade Radio regarding Taylor Adams. At the Hawks he was shrewd and nailed the Pies many times (eg. Tom Phillips pick 65) and hope he can pull out his "one wood" and bleed the bloods dry on this deal!! _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

But, its your call, have fun with Longmires dirge game plan, as boring as watching paint dry. |
And Longmire’s dour personality as well,That should be fun. |

Highly unlikely. What - he just walks away from another $600-700k (he is contracted). Also not helpful for list planning if you wait until trading/drafting window has closed before you retire.
He’s no chance of retiring before the start of season ‘24 IMO. _________________ It's never as good/nor bad as it seems... |

Yeah my head is ok with Tay's decision, I guess but my heart's a bit miffed. He's been one of my faves, bashing in to it time after time over the journey.
I think we'll miss him in the clinches |
