Reckon we could get him cheap in a trade at the end of the year. Might be a fire sale at Melbourne too

I’d rather have Baz at the Pies.
But he won’t be leaving the Bulldogs, he loves Bevo as a coach.

Yeah, Sniff wont be going anywhere. Young bloke made a mistake, hardly the first one.

I wouldn't touch May with a bargepole unless we were right in a premiership window, which we aren't, and he was the missing piece. Like Brian Lake at Hawthorn.

Media’s being very understanding and supportive. If only he wore black and white. But knowing what many media get up to, can’t really throw stones in a glass house — Collingwood’s always fair game though.

BS will get a few weeks — if that — and be welcomed back as a hero at the dogs, he won’t get traded.

Media know what’s been happening behind the scenes.
Family health issues have had an impact.

I know the family, they live nearby and the 24 year old played junior footy with Baz’s older brother.

It’s a society issue anyway, footballers get the attention but there are three times the amount of people snorting it. Go to any club in the city.

Maybe so but if it was us he wouldn’t get the same leeway

On top of being reported for a headbutt - disgusting act at the best of times - you’d want the media to be going harder. There’s no viable excuse for any of this - it doesn’t matter what’s going on in his personal life, it’s just unacceptable in civilised society.

How about Jake Niall’s glowing character reference for Bailey in The Age today. Hey Jake — he got caught red handed, of course he was going to be up front about it. Funny how they’re exemplary young men who own up to their mistakes only after they’re caught.

Lol he got a glowing character reference from everyone in the media and plays the mental health card, of course they go easy on him. Compare to De Goey, who wasn’t even guilty of everything he was accused of — particularly the indecent assault — but completely different response from media. The worst accusers didn’t even say sorry for painting him as a rapist (yeah you Susie click bait Obrien). Seriously, herald sun headline paints him as a poor victim “seduced by the party scene.” Imagine if De Goey used that excuse!

The Footscray coach - without hint of a conflict of interest, of course, has a solution: https://www.afl.com.au/news/779348/-none-of-us-are-really-sure-it-works-bevo-questions-illicit-drugs-policy
