Pakistan made 7/278 against Zimbabwe in the first game of the Sharjah Cup.

Younis Khan (67) and Rashid Latif (34) batted well but Abdur(l) Razzaq's innings of 76 in 53 balls bumped up the Paki's total. He hit 7 sixes.

Heath Streak was the best bowler, taking 2/31 from his 10 overs.

Zimbabwe were dismissed for 210 in the 45th. over.

Marillier top scored with 59 and Umar Gul, Razzaq, Kaneria and Hafeez took 2 wickets apiece.

Sangakkara scored his first ODI century as Sri Lanka compiled 6/223 against Pakistan.

He hit 100 n.o. from 111 balls.

Malik and Sami both took 1/36 from their 10 overs

Pakistan cruised to another win. They scored 3/225 in 47.2 overs.

Hafeez scored a slow 50 but Youhana (64 from 64) and Khan (57 from 49) took Pakistan to victory. Murali was SL's best with 0/33 from 10.

Zimbabwe are playing Kenya and Kenya are 1/20 after 5 overs.

6/225 was Kenya's score after 50 overs with Obuya (57) and Odoyo (46) doing best.

Streak was best with the ball, taking 1/28 from his 10. Price also bowled well for 2/36.

Zimbabwe won with 6 balls to spare. Doug Marillier notched an even hundred and Grant Flower, 59.

Best bowler for Kenya was Collins Obuya, with 2/31.

Sri Lanka are 3/158 after 36 overs with Sangakkara on 45 and Tillakaratne, 29.

Odoyo has bowled well for 1/16 from 7 overs and Collins Obuya, 1/20 from 7.

Sangakkara has scored his second century in two days. His 103 n.o. from 108 balls as Sri Lanka totalled 5/256.

Collins Oboya returned best figures of 2/38 from his 10 overs.

Kenya could only muster 127 from 37.5 overs. Odumbe made 42.

Murali took 3/16, Nissanka, 2/26 and Jayasuriya, 2/21.

If you thought Muralitharan was difficult to pronounce, try this one: Sri lanka's new player is called Lokuarachchi. Good luck !

Zimbabwe defeated Sri Lanka with 8 balls to spare to advance to the final, against Pakistan.

Tillakaratne (31) was top score in SL's total of 193 in 49.1 overs. Heath Streak took 3/36 and Andy Blignaut, 3/33.

Grant Flower got his team home with a good 61 n.o. Lokuarachchi took 3/37.

Pakistan ran up a good total of 8/286 with Malik leading the way with 76 from 58 balls. Tikolo took 3/42 from 8 overs.

Kenya were dismissed for 143 in 31.4 overs. Sami took 4/25 from 6.4 overs and Odumbe scored 54.
