A season of two halves for Billy. Almost mirroring Collingwood's year. The first half of the year, it was Jamie Elliott in career best form. Heading into the bye, he was a lock for All Australian. His second half of the year though, much like Collingwood, he fell off a cliff. A back injury during this period didn't help things but it almost felt like we lost a superstar. He did finish the last few rounds off pretty well though and ended up taking out the Pies leading goal kicker award with 35 goals for the year. All in all, a good year from Billy. Consistency I'm sure will be the driving message through pre season and heading into next year. He'll be better for it and I'm sure an All Australian nod won't be too far away.
