Another truly sublime season from our skipper, what else would you expect? His numbers continue to stack up with the very best in the game. He played many different roles this year, spending a lot more time forward + also playing a sort of like quarterback role in defence. His one letdown though which became very obvious towards the back end of the year is his set shot goal kicking. I'm sure Pendles is and will be doing everything in his powers to arrest this tiny problem in his flawless game. There is no one else I'd rather have captaining this young group than Pendles. A great leader and that extra workload hasn't affected his individual game whatsoever. He will most likely go on to win a 4th straight Copeland Trophy + was selected in the 40 man squad for this years All Australian side, you'd expect him to make the 22 which would make it 6 straight AA seasons in a row. Pendlebury truly is one of the greats and is capable to go at least another 5+ years at this level which is very much exciting for Magpie fans & also AFL fans. They don't call him the Rolls Royce for nothing. One of the most consistent footballers of the modern era and i'd expect no different in 2016 from our Pendles. Enjoy the offseason skip
