This forum has been 'up and down' a lot lately. It has been down for the last five mintes for example. And it especially goes bad once we get to 2 or 3 in the afternoon. The page won't load for a few minutes, and then it seems to go ok for a while, and then it goes down again. What gives?

Just the ongoing battle with traffic growth Nick. We actually made it through two grand finals this year with only occasional and transient problems. Last season we used to lose the whole site for extended periods every time there was a surge in traffic - we've got that under control and slowly but surely getting a high reliability, high load operation running on shoe strings and sticky tape.

Another problem surfaced this afternoon causing that brief outage that you experienced, so I've plugged that and I haven't run out of chewing gum yet.

Things will only improve.
