After the first day of their tour opener, Australia flayed the Carribean Beer XI (yep, that's correct. Lol) to the tune of 3/377.
Matthew Hayden made 102 and Justin Langer, 60 in a bright opening partnership.
Steve Waugh and Martin Love (56) continued the onslaught. Waugh is not out on 106 and Darren Lehmann is 44.

Australia were given a solid workout as the Carribean Beer XI put on 222 for 7th wicket to draw the match.
Chasing 442 to win, the Beer XI were 6/180 and the Aussies were cruising and Brad Hogg was making a spirited bid to grab Warney's spot in the Test lineup ahead of Stuart MacGill by taking the first 5 wickets but Narsingh Deonarine (141 n.o.) and Carlton Baugh (115 n.o.) hit out. At one stage they took 35 from 2 overs.
With 9 overs to go, the locals needed 81 from 9 overs and were right in it but shut up shop when the ask got too big.
Hogg finished with 5/122 from 22 overs after being on 5/50 and MacGill bowled 26 overs for 1/126.
