the first three quarters were pretty ordinary, but the last quarter was sensational!!

the forward line is the best in the league no doubt! especially when they get delivery so well as they did in the last quarter!

great work boys - continue that for next week and it'll be a cracker!!

 Great stuff, a hat trick of wins. Let's hope we can keep on track, there's bound to be the odd slip up during the season, but it's sure looking good at the moment.

I thought it was a dreadful game early on ... but it got better as it went on.

The umpiring kept Geelong in the game for three quarters. But class prevailed in the end.

Tarrant ... SENSATIONAL

Rocca ... stood up when it mattered.

Woewodin ... the guy is an absolute magician. I especially loved that mark he took in front of goal in the third quarter. Very clever use of the body for a small player ... Unfortunately it got taken off him and Geelong went forward and scored a goal. Thanks, scumpires ... you cost us two goals there.

Just how embarassing would that result have been for Geelong if every bullshit decision that Geelong benefited from could be somehow cancelled. What about that one just before half-time. Collingwood player is clearly being held ... no free kick ... two seconds later the situation is reversed ... FREE KICK TO GEELONG ! They play on and get a goal

Lockyer ... DAMN !

Pretty even, solid contest in the first three quarters. Geelong played pretty good footy. We were ok but were struggling with a few match-ups and getting a shokcing run from the MAGGOTS. Showed class to overcome this.

Last quarter was BRILLIANT. A sneak preview of what its like when everything gels together. We are a force to be reckoned with. To blow a side apart in that amount of time is very very impressive.

Tarrant (as i have gone into GREAT detail about in another thread  ) was AWESOME. Worked his guts out all game.

Pebbles was a match winner. Quiet for most of the game, but like Alf said, stoof up when it counted. He was gr8.

Alot of positives to take out of the game, such as the form of Woey, Burns in his first game back, Williams and also Josh Fraser. A bit of a confidence booster ahead of the daunting trip to the GABBA whci will be very handy indeed.

An absolute tragedy for Tarks. Thinking of you mate

What a feeling to finally break the hoodoo against the PUSSIES. As i said b4, this was a game we would have lost in the past, and we have won the 3 games that really were a must for us as a top 4 side. Well done Collingwood. 4 very very tough games in the next 5 weeks. The test begins.

LETS GO PIEBOYS!

Very good way to finish off when facing the premier team the next week.

The amount of contested marks by Tarrant and Pebbles was sensational!! Scott Burns takes the midfield to snother level. What a luxury it is to have Nathan sitting on the bench when we are piling on the goals in the last quarter.

Do you think MM was resting him for this weeks game?? Obree another tireless midfielder was also on the bench ;)

Good player management by Malthouse me thinks ;)

Yep JLC. Gotta have fresh legs for such a long road trip against such a powerful team, with only a 5 day break. Mick knows this and mastered it perfectly.

I just can't wait till Thursday....The pies were lucky enough to rest key players in that last qtr and still kick away....The Lions were really tested and with a few hours difference, they may not come up as good... So get ready for an absolute beauty next week...

shame about tarks...I hate to see any player go down with an injury like that..but he will be back..no doubt....great win in the end...imagine if we played all 4 qtr's like the last one......UNBEATABLE!!!

Cheers
