There is talk of raiding GWS but when would a Cameron be available? not next year surely?
How long is the initial contract coming straight out of the national draft?

Then don't say that your opinion is fact.RudeBoy wrote:I'm simply stating my opinion, based on what has become public knowledge. That is the point of contention not that you are just expressing a view, hell we are all doing that

Is that just another way of saying "Whately is a better bullshitter than I am"ClokingDevice wrote: Whately's speculation is far superior to mine, as it should be, he's a paid professional plugged into the industry and it's his job to talk to the relevant parties and guage the situation
In which case I would say you are probably selling yourself a bit short

I posted this in the wrong thread, so sorry for repeating it here.
OK, this will no doubt confuse plenty of Nicksters, who have read my comments on Cloke. I would have shown him the door weeks ago, but that did not happen and it won't happen now, so close to the finals. So what do we do and how do we win the flag? Given, the club is going to persevere with Cloke, the question is how do we get the best out of him in the finals?
I reckon both Cloke and Dawes are in desperate need of some man love from the coach. Bucks should have them both over to his place for dinner and let them know that he believes in them. He needs to tell them that they each have an opportunity to leave a mark on history. We all know they each are very talented (especially Travis) players, but for a variety of reasons their confidence is shot. From here on, it's all about above the shoulder stuff. Bucks needs to get in their head that he loves them, so that they will bust their guts for him in return.
What happens re contracts etc is now irrelevant. We have a Premiership to win.
There. I hope that makes the Cloke fan club happy.

To "show him the door" it would need to be based on him doing something wrong.
What (at that time) did he do wrong?

Unbeleivable the amount of Cloke apologists out there.
The guy has hijacked a promising season, should have been shown the door no doubt.
Given that they will persist with him, we must find some way to get the best out of him, however that is a very hard task given where his head is at and the protective football he has been playing in order to avoid an injury for his 2013 club.

I'm sorry but its got to the point that under no circumstances do I want him at the club next year and I will be disgusted if he is still there.woftam wrote:But nobody knows for certain he is leaving. So much angst over something beyond our control. If he signs with us in the week after the season ends then people booing him are going to look pretty silly. If he leaves then he leaves. Sh1t happens.

Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle.
