I think we saw last night just how important he is to our team.If he goes we will struggle to make the finals,if he stays our premiership window stays open just a little bit longer.

TRUE- SIGN him ASAP. Sign him now Pies, this is now pure insanity to drag this on any longer, and give the Scum hope, sign him an snuff out their hopes. !!
Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Lol was it last week he was a traitor you wanted nowhere near our club anymore? Some worms do turn don't they?

I thought last night showed it's more important to be even over the field and have a decent game plan and execution.. good luck with that paying one player a million bucks
MOST important player in the side, he is the biggest and strongest piece of the spine. Him and Reid are our pillars, bookends if you like, they are the ones you build a side around.
He wants $800,000 a season for 5 years to remain a pie, he'll go elsewhere for $1,000,000 a season for 5 if we don't agree to his terms.
At the end of the day Travis has just as much chance of getting injured within the next 4 years no matter the length of a contract so why worry what might occur for year number 5.
Dont care if he stays or goes, as long as we use his salary cap room wisely and also dont sacrifice ourselves in the future for salary cap pressure.
With free agency, it's difficult to be wise. There's always other clubs who are more desperate and willing to offer more. You are almost always better to keep the talent you have.
If we lose Cloke, the replacement options are slim. There's really only Tippett and maybe Goddard. We'd have to overpay both to get them. Especially Tippett who'll get offers from his home state from teams with more cap room. That's even assuming that either are on the move.
