The thing is, if that happens how long before someone comes out with some black and white Trojan magpie conspiracy theory? The media are going to have a field day.

I'd LOVE if we got the credit in the media for Carlton's demise :D

Let it go guys. He is a Collingwood premiership coach, and therefore I wish him all the best in his new endeavour. It's not like his new club are going to play finals, or anything this year...

Why sack him? I think he's doing a great job. I couldn't be happier.

He looks pretty frustrated and worn out in that interview .. maybe starting to realise is not the messiah, just a very naughty old man

They only got him because they have overrated their list and foolishly believed that they are in a premiership window and that they need to win one in 3 years before Judd and others retire.

When it becomes obvious this premiership window is just a delusion, they will get rid of him at the end of his contract at the end of 2015 and then bring a new coach in to start the rebuild.

He's got a three year deal, and he will never quit himself, so there's next to no chance that Mick will be sacked any time prior to the end of next season.

Carlton's team is full of downhill skiers, it will take Mick at least a year to teach them how to play proper finals football, and by then Judd may be too old anyway.

Actually for a bloke coaching at his 4th club he's had a remarkable run with never actually being sacked.

he left the Dogs to go to the weagles, left them to come to us. You could argue whether we sacked him or changed his contract but he left the club.

I reckon he's more inclined to jump if he doesn't think it's going to work out.

Actually Carlton have as good a top six players as any club in the comp , their problem is with their bottom six. Depth is a great thing , just ask Collingwood.
