Farewell #13 Taylor Adams
Moderator: bbmods
I think the spotlight is on him because he is not a first year player, but a high draft pick in his third year in the system, not to mention that he was swapped for Heath Shaw.
I think he will end up as an adequate replacement for Luke Ball, more or less, one day, but at the moment not looking like being anything more than that.

Already posted several times elsewhere. I recall the Toovey haters - the pack moves on. The game was lost today because the midfield was outplayed and the Maxwell-less defence was like a headless chicken under pressure. Adams disposal amd composure under pressure is a problem ; but I think it's a maturity thing. What he needs is confidence, not abuse. He'll be a 100+ player, in the end.
Two more flags before I die!

Thank you Swoop. A voice of reason amongst a group of imbeciles who can't separate emotions from rational thoughts.swoop42 wrote:One of our better players despite a few mistakes.
Maxy said on radio last week he thinks he'll be a 200 game player for the club.
Take that however you want.

He'll be alright getting a job after footy next year.
He can catch the train into the city and sit with his back to the direction of the train.
Maybe take up swimming, particularly the backstroke.

I don't particularly want to show Adams support.
I just want to poke the emotionally retarded with a stick.
Our Brownlow medalist just watched proceedings for the second half.
The last quarter was a clangerfest by our whole team.
Let's lay the boot into the bloke we've had the least time to get to know because he produced two of the seventeen clangers of the last eight minutes

Re: Taylor Adams will be alright
Absolutely agree, the kid had 30 disposals and tried his heart out. sure made a few mistakes but was not alone. Some of the comments were/are disgusting.Damien wrote:Can't believe the attack threads on this kid. Post here if you want to show him some support.
I understand the disappointment but please keep the loss in perspective.
