He had 21 Contested Possesions. That is Massive  :D
I know a bloke who's a professional Daredevil but is scared witless of spiders.

Adams was fearless in his attack on the ball, once he had it though he was very hesitant, and at a few key moments in that last quarter almost froze, not knowing what to do.

He was better at getting the ball than his last game, but his use of the ball and decision making was even worse than his previous game. These are areas he can improve, it's just a question of whether he can be trusted as our number 1 extractor at this stage or not.
BS - Last game he had Many Shanks and Shanked 2 Goals Shots and this Week he had his Chance and put it Thru the Goals.

I think keep him in the Team and things should just keep Improving.

He was never under this kind of Pressure at GWS where games where over a Half-Time at the Latest

We have finally found a player to replace the aging and slowing Luke Ball - a tough and fearless inside mid who can get plenty of the ball. I'm obviously watching a different game to a lot of Nicksters, as I thought Adams played a fantastic game, who gave his all to try to get us over the line. Sadly, he was surrounded by way too many passengers, who for some strange reason have avoided scrutiny by the Adams haters.

Most of our players had terrible clangers tonight but his stands out the most cause we're actively looking for it. His disposal is improving and I'd much rather have him in the team than Blair ("I don't know where the footy is but I can follow a player and tackle them in a pack")
Agreed. He got to the ball many times. So many others didn't get near it. Or if they did they made mistakes also.

Could not say it better myself

If we had less Passengers then Adams would have never been put in that Position he was late in the Game.

But his Kicking and Descion making when having a Kick from a Free Kick or Mark needs some more work

He needs a farking lobotomy, there is next to no doubt it's in his head..you simply couldn't try to kick it as bad as he does sometimes....

%$^ I hope he dont read forums......given his apparent mental fragility he'd be off to the men in white coats after reading on here.

I think this is the first time we've ever had a player get 21 contested possessions. FFS people, we should all be singing his praises, not becoming obsessed with his weaknesses. Adams is a gem and will be a powerful midfield weapon for us for the next 8 years. I've watched the game again and despite a few errant disposals - usually because he's so hemmed in and under siege - his courageous and fearless attack on the ball and opposition players has made me re-access his performance. He was BOG.

Can't comment regarding his game yesterday but the last month or so would've been a good opportunity to tell the kid he's in the seniors for 4 weeks straight - That is, if his VFL form warrants a call up. I don't think in&out is helping.

This
Plus what Wokko said

Only 3 clangers from 21 contested touches.
Swan had 4 clangers from 7 contested.
Dwyer, Langdon, Seedsman, Young and cloke all had 3 clangers each from far less total and contested possessions.

Id like to get on record here as this thread will be revisited in the future no doubt.
He WILL be a player AND is currently developing nicely.
Loves the club as well and is bought thoroughly in to Bucks - very coachable and with Burns, Bucks and co coaching him he will be a star.

His best game for the club. Think there's some merit in the idea as his fitness wanes his kicking skills lapse. Would like to see him spend some time with Bucks on kicking skills. When he tries to drill the Sherrin he shanks it, when he relaxes and times it his kicking is more than adequate. And he is as hard as a cats head. Definitely a keeper and a key platform in our 2016-17 dynasty.
Explain it to me like I'm a four year old. Ted Whitten is an AFL legend, and Bob Rose isn't?

Adams will improve he will have a few shockers but so did Benny Johnson. 30 possessions would have been a different story if we snuck home on sunday
