Had to play down back with Langdon & Marley missing. We could have done with him around the stoppages.

Jesse White needs to pull his finger out. Bucks told him to extract it! As for Adams, turned it over again a bit but still played well. Won't be long till he is a regular. Tries too hard sometimes but his endeavour is great and clearly tries to earn his keep. He is slowly improving his disposal. Just needs patience.

Adams has done well the last month or so. Is as tough as old boots and has improved in decision making and disposal efficiency. Easily in our top five players tonight. On a slightly sexist note, is there a better arse in the team?
After the epic draw comes the decisive knockout!
Collingwood rules the world again and Mick Malthouse fulfils his destiny with the twenty ten premiership and can you hear the people sing!

Thought Taylor Adams was great tonite. Real mental strength and grit. He just kept going. Kept forcing the ball forward. Yeah sure he makes a few mistakes. Who wouldn't at his age? But his determination and will to keep going is really amazing. His errors were outweighed by his energy and continous drive. Give him time. He will be a star.

I'd still rather Adams get 20 touches with 70-80% efficiency than what he got tonight with 61%.

The lad finds the ball well and can do some really good stuff with it, but can do some dog ugly things with it which undoes all his good work earlier.

With that said, he should NOT be dropped in my opinion. He wont get any better in the VFL and he's getting better week by week.

He's going to be a star in the future!

When Luke Ball decides to hang up the boots (as long as he plays 100 games for us first), Adams is going to be a ready made replacement! Loving his work.
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeey, we want some Bayley!

Kicking is getting better but as said can still have the Odd Brain Fade but you think that would get better with Experince

Adams uses the Ball when he in the Midfield. Down back is not his best Position. Was better then the 1st time we was down back.

Spot on AFL Games is the Only thing he needs to get better.

He is still a kid at 20 :D

Adams game tonight was up and down like the team. He looked good in patches but turned it over. Crappy night to play football, not much skills on show.

i've already said i'd be thrilled to be proved wrong about taylor...i'll admit his WB game seems to have been by far a show of his worst footy.

still don't think he's starting 22 (21?) material, kicking skills and decision making are very poor.

i will say he wore that punch very well, he's definitely got some guts (i'll put the dropped mark down to thinking before he had it, not being soft - soft is one thing he is not).

i think he's keeping freeman's spot warm for him personally.

my main gripe is that we let heath go with him, which is unfair on him in reality. i just think a premiership-winning and arguably one of the top 3 small defender was worth a lot, lot, lot, lot, lot more.

Did some crap things but did some fantastic things too, and was in the thick of it all night. Was happy with his game, especially given he was not being played in the guts which is his best position.

I agree. If he had have taken a couple of those contested marks we probably wouldn't be seeing the negative stuff about him. Wonder if the finger injury is still a factor, even mentally.

Problem is I can't remember him taking a contested mark for quite some time now. Or not fumbling. Granted I didn't see the game against the Hawks so maybe he played ok in that one. He's certainly dropped quite a few chesties too.
