I am also heading over to Victory Park DTM
I have been more engaged by the scoobs than the seniors all year. For anyone who hasn't been to see the boys at Vic Park, it is a lot of fun.Dave The Man wrote:I be heading down to watch this game.
Was a Great Game last year where Grundy and Beams won us the Game.
Love to see Scharanberg Play Live for the 1st Time
Can't wait to see Sharenberg. I actually hope that Grundy plays because my view is that he is actually a key forward, masquerading as a ruckman and I want to see him given time to develop.
Also, its worth going to the game just to see what J Marsh will do next. He is a ripper...

Marsh back, thankfully.
So too Riddle.
Scharenberg survived his first hitout, so you all get to see him for the first time.
EDIT: And Luke Ball playing VFL? Is the end nigh...?

He is a gem, isn't he, Jon Marsh? It's a pity he's been restricted to the VFL only, in one sense, because I think he has been one of our hidden success stories in a barren year. Has made the transition to key defence very well and, while I know they're only doing it for development reasons, I'm now prepared to say that's the position he should be developed in.
In effect, he has the potential to become another Frost. Just whose spot he would take, well, that's another story, but he's been such a treat to watch grow this year...
Interesting point you make on Grundy. He actually was proficient as a key forward in his junior days. It would certainly allow him to co-exist with Witts in the seniors...

That's another thing for me to get outraged about!
P.S-The hawks second on the AFL and VFL ladder.
We still have a way to go to catch them it would seem.
Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle.

You mean the 23rd man nomination?John Wren wrote:can you change it once it's been nominated for the round?
I'm not entirely clear with the team lodgement rules, but I'd assume not, unless said 23rd man was injured on the day before the game (not entirely out of the question). But then to install another player as 23rd man, they'd have to meet the criteria, which from memory is 1st year in the VFL, and has only 3 games or less...
