could you ask for a better attitude. never understood the criticism on this board of this guy. Have posted many times that he plays the game exactly the way everyone wants Collingwood players to play.

Agree that Ball's absence has allowed him to play the role that he is well suited to (and that until Ball left, he was finding it hard to find his role - given that Ball was playing it).

Next to Beams, Pendles and Macaffer, our centre set up looks pretty complete for years to come.

played his best game without a doubt. Crashed in, stuck his tackles, and his disposal was much better. Was disappointed at the start of the year but goes to show that young kids don't just have an immediate impact they need consistent time. Give Thomas, Kennedy, broomhead and adams more time and I think they can be top contributors for us.

I'd argue Ball's absence has improved his game dramatically. It was the games where Bucks had him playing at half back that were horrible. If he's to be an advantage to our team, then he needs to be played as a permanent inside mid pinch hitting forward occasionally, NOT BACK. Well done to the kid, I'm quite happy to eat my words. Yep Playing Adams at Half Back really shows up his Weakness which is his Kicking.

Playing Him in the Midfield and he plays really well there

The fact that he's identified his kicking as being a slight weakness of his game is a great sign that he's going to do everything he can to rectify that problem.

He can hardly miss this 'weakness'. Some of his kicking is akin to giving the ball to a visiting overseas celebrity for a photo shoot!
