Beams, pick*34 to Brisbane.

Pick 5, Lumumba and Merrett to Melbourne.

Pick 2 and 25 to pies.

*Pick received for Mitch Clarke
Rejected ;).
No thanks. Beams deal has to be in it's own and a player must be involved. Greenwood deal is in isolation also. For a brief moment we carry the whip hand.

She's certainly not the worst journo, just not sure she's on the money about Beams.
I actually enjoy when she sticks it up the AFL...

I'd be surprised if a deal's done as early as tomorrow. If so, it had better be a good one, 'cause that's not much of a hold out.
Well done boys!

Effectively with that we get two unknowns. I think the club is right to demand Redden or Aish as well as pick 5 from the Bruisedbum Liars. I see where the value is with pick 2, but would prefer Redden and pick 5.

Lepitch on twitter said redden going nowhere.

If it's not pick 5 and player the calibre if aish, rich or redden I'll be pissed.

Pick 2 and 25 is 90% compo for beams. I'd take that as a worst case scenario.

PS, I like Caro too. Not in the religious sense, but certainly in a 'keep the bastards honest' kinda way! I love her stance on James Turd.

Does that mean you'd be 90% satisfied with this outcome - which is pretty good really if that is the case for a worst case scenario unless I've misinterpreted you.

Personally i think this is a fair trade for all parties and pick 2 shouldn't be sniffed at.

It would either land us Petracca  or give us the option between Brayshaw or McCartin.

Bribane lose pick 5, 25, Merrett
Brisbane gain Beams, pick 34

Melbourne lose pick 2, 34
Melbourne gain pick 5, Lumumba, Merrett

Collingwood lose Beams
Collingwood gain pick 2, 25

I don't think there is enough in it for Brisbane in that scenario - but I like it

Yes not rapt but could live with it.
Only because it would give us the choice between Brayshaw or McCarthy.

Only problem was, he wasn't sacked...
She's been right all along about Essendon however in terms of the sacking the board got legal advice that they could be sued & likely successfully. The legal case has seen her right about Essendon from nearly 2 years ago - it supported her views all the way.

Hird's lawyers outsmarted Essendon in last week. Appeal to happen so then we'll all see.
correct. i would like to see just one thread that mentions caro to be free from character assassination. nothing new ever gets said when this occurs.
When she stops confusing opinion pieces with facts, that might happen.

That can be applied to most journalists at one time or another. What JW is referring to extends beyond this.

Greg Davis reports:

Brisbane : Beams
North : pick 25
Collingwood : Pick 5, Greenwood

I'd take it.
