The problem is that Greenwood isn't North's 3rd best player. He had a good year this year, but that was after 6 pretty average years at the club. Maybe he's a late developer or maybe he's just a one year wonder, it's hard to say right now. That's why most would agree he's only worth a mid second round pick. If "player X from Brisbane" is Aish, Redden or Mayes, then no, you wouldn't be happy with Greenwood instead. The Lions players are all younger and more talented. There's also the fact that we can get Greenwood anyway with either our second rounder or the Lumumba pick.

It's absolutely about an outcome for us. An outcome that would see us add a solid performer like Greenwood and two young highly talented midfielders to our list. If we lose Beams we need that or else we go backwards IMO.
