I'm sure they will if they give us Treloar and we offer to help pay the first year of Beams' contract like we did for Heath.

Griffen won't be playing for peanuts.

They missed out on Franklin last year.

Not so sure about that.

It shows that Brisbane's first offer was laughable, as we all knew it was. Their second deal is still inadequate and not one we should accept. Give them till tomorrow to get serious and then open it up to other clubs. If Beams is serious about being near his father he'll deal with the Suns. If that was just rubbish he can go anywhere, I really don't want him to stay even if he wanted to re-sign.
Well done boys!

I'm leaning that way too, but I'd still prefer to keep him than agree to a trade that sees us only get about 70% of his value, which is what I think Brisbanes first two picks offer.

Yes. And once our 'deadline' has passed there is nothing to stop them still coming to us with their tail between their legs and upping their offer if they seriously want their man before the official deadline. They could have a few more suitors to compete with by then. The more I think about the deadline we put in place the more I think it was a tactical master stroke by our people. Well done Pies.
