What are you listening to right now?

You proffer a link to something that sounds like it's been conceived, written and performed in somebody's toilet and then have the nerve to criticise my taste?

Tame Impala's earlier stuff was better, but I suspect you'd probably hate it just as much:

"Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange
I didn't hate it. It's a bit tedious, I suppose, but mostly it just sounds like kids who can't quite play any of their instruments having a go in a music store.David wrote:Tame Impala's earlier stuff was better, but I suspect you'd probably hate it just as much:

Listening to the earlier album, I can see why the Beatles references are made (the singer was obviously scared by John Lennon at an early age) but why anyone would refer to it as "futuristic" is beyond me.

And when the coffee kicks in, if you're going to cover a song for the doof doof generation, this is how it's done

Ligeti's Lux Aeterna
Beauty out of chaos - or chaos out of beauty - one or the other (or both).
I'm actually listening to the London Sinfonietta Voices recording but I can't find it on youtube. This version, though, is very beautiful, too:

I'm not sure what the next link was but then it was the ode to the Marshall Amp. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uxkDXXGt80 and I found myself bopping in the chair. I now also realise where I learnt my dancing.
