After recently retiering from Richmond, Newman will be looking to move into a coaching role somewhere next year.

He has done some handy work down at Sandringham this year and coaches were impressed with his attitude and approach to the players.

Now, I know I come up with something like this every year, but would it be wise and do you think he would look at a chance to coach at some level of our VFL side?

This of couse raises to opportunity to play/coach if he and the club wanted to do that.

With Rivers coming into coach, I guess it pretty much rules this idea out.
