Running unimpeded is a bit different to repeat efforts after having grown men smash into you for 120 minutes. But yes, being aerobically fit from the get-go makes the transition to senior football easier.MagpieAnge wrote:Good work from the young man! Yeah, for sure. Physically, he will still have to adjust to the rigours of AFL standard footy, and being able to keep it up for a full game. Having a tank big enough to beat Sidey in a 2k run, even if the latter was possibly having an off day, shows that he has a really strong base to build on though.
