Looks like we're going for the old "22 man leadership group".

The Adams effect

Post by BazBoy »

Quite an interesting video on Collingwood website about the young man
a bit from Steele plus Treloar who says that he is happy to be lining up
with him again

Talks of him being his captain and Nathan being their coach--tells me why
we chased and got them as NB had a look at them as the were developing
I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right

Interesting to speculate how the two are going to team together. One is a pocket size tank and the other silky smooth. Watching Pendles and Treloar streaming down the centre while Adams mows down any opponents in their path is going to very entertaining.

Disagree. Tom Langdon can be added as a future skipper and I ma sure there are others.
Annoying opposition supporters since 1967.

Id agree for a few reasons.

He is smart - Both intellectually and footy smarts.
Is noted for his work ethic and leads by example off ciled and on field.
He extended his contract fairly quickly stating he was thankful to the pies for giving him a chance and wanted to stay loyal for many years.
He played 19 games in his first year and Every game last year.

Most importantly, last year when Pendles was asked who he viewed as a future captain he nominated Langdon.
