It would be nice to have some broadcast coverage to lead in to the big game. At the very least, I'll be following Mr Bat's tweets/posts.

Plenty of players to look out for this week.

Grundy, Goldsack, Aish, Marsh, Reid, Toovey and Howe are the ones I would focus my attentions on the most.

You're the best!

Hey has anyone done a preview of the VFL season and expectations for teams across the league, especially the Pies? Sorry if I've missed it on here somewhere.

Yeah, the VFL will be doing a preview for each team, which you've linked to above I see.

I'll also be writing a VFL Pies preview for The Collingwood Blog before the season starts...

Oxley has headed over to Sydney as an emergency.

We should Smash Coburg Tommorow.

Sadly I might miss the end because to make sure I am home in time for the Seniors

Yeah, you'll probably need to be leaving about three quarter time or 5:10pm, whichever comes first.

I'll be there to the end. Feel free to log in here via phone to follow how the final quarter goes. :)

Happy Daicos watching as well, by the way...

The Coburg team...
1 Ben Allan
2 Errol McConnell
3 Nathan Thomas
4 Robbie Fox
5 Josh Cauchi
6 Mark Orr
7 Lachie Johns
10 Danny Younan
12 Peter McEvoy
13 Matthew Stillman
14 Michael Ercolano
15 Josh Iacobaccio
16 Lech Featherstone
18 Matthew Merlo
19 Michael Mattingly
21 Rory Lehmann
22 Simon Caven
26 Liam Hunt
27 Kyle Staples
28 Dylan McDonald
29 Tom Goodwin
33 Nick Linton
41 Mark Kovcevic
44 Joel Madden

I can finally put names to numbers, which probably won't be of any comfort to Jesse White if they play him in defence again, but it makes for a better call and review...

If we rule out only Oxley, then we can fill 16 of the 18(22) with AFL listed or rookie listed players. Not bad.

B: White Marsh Goldsack
HB: Wills Reid Toovey
C: VFL Aish Golds
R: Grundy Sier Goodyear
HF: Crocker Howe Phillips
F: VFL Cox Wyatt

EDITED to put Golds on a wing

Burgers have won the toss, means we're kicking to the Batman Avenue end.

Reid starting on ground.

No sign of Goldsack.

Howe starting forward.

Grundy starting ruck.

And away we GO!
