I've been reading Nick's since 2011. Sorry for not joining the conversation earlier, but well... being a girl and a foreigner I'm still pretty much learning the game ;)

I live in Poland so my only AFL lifeline is a subscription with watchafl.com. I watch games live unless they are at some ungodly hour in my timezone or I have to be at work (if the game is on Friday/Monday).
What a great story.
More girls needed on Nicks.
Think Positive is a girl and she is great.
Every now and then she gives it to me and the "perceptive fellow".

G'day, Howdy,

Been lurking in the shadows for over a decade, this post has prompted me to finally join the bear pit.

It was actually RudeBoy's post on LT's that got my blood boiling, I've had some history with them at work; their methodology and practice is bunk and snake oil. I was disappointed when they were brought into the inner sanctum of the club.

Anywayz, here's my origin story. My maternal family are all saints supporters, paternal are gapped tooth Pies. I was a Saints supporter as a Toddler, but my father and brother locked me in the toilet and wouldn't let me out till I agreed to support the Pies. 30 odd years later and it's two premierships, three GF losses and all the ups and downs.

And when Stui says "family" think Charles Manson's, for behavior.
Not James' or Marilyn's...

I have a bunch of Aussie friends on facebook and I've been immersing myself in Oz history and culture for years - mostly via films, tv shows, YT channels, books, the like.

And every now and then someone would mention afl. In 2011 by a total coincidence I caught a game on Eurosport. Can't remember now who was playing whom but I was hooked by how fast this game was and by the degree of contact that was allowed. So I started searching how I could watch the games and found that Eurosport 2 covered one game a week. I couldn't choose which teams to watch, I just enjoyed the game for the game itself. BTW all my Aussie friends barrack for Geelong ;)

So I guess I was waiting for a Cats game to see, but before I was given the chance Eurosport broadcast the Queen's Birthday game when Trav kicked a bag of 6 for the first time in his career. Well... let's just say I _had_ my fav team from that moment on ;)

I wanted to follow the Pies more closely so I found their YT channel, and then got a subscription which allowed me to have access to a live stream.

But it was still not enough, so I got myself a birthday gift and flew to Australia for 5 weeks.

I spent most of the time travelling in WA and NT, but I got to stay a few days in Melbourne too and I went to the Coll v Eagles qualifying final :)

5 years and the team has gone backwards.
Loved Bucks as a player, but don't rate him as a coach.
But its not only Bucks, our development has gone backwards our skills are shizen and our fitness staff is terrible (doggies and saints had similar injury problems with Davoren).
This leading teams cult needs to also be culled.
