fair call. My excuse is my back was pulling up sore from standing still. Walking is fine but more than an hour of basically standing in one spot it starts to hurt, so I headed for the car.

Thanks for the call and the reports,

Loving what I am hearing of Wills, Crocker sounds a likely type and what can people tell me about Viola?

Very well. Has probably been our best performer over the first month and was again a contender for Best on, in my view.

Got ironed out at the first centre bounce (which as anyone who has seen him live will tell you takes some doing), but he shook it off well enough and played another very good game.

Wouldn't mind giving him a shot against the real Carlton next week...
Again not listed in the bests on the Pies website. I'm amazed how little recognition he's received from the club. I've watched that Lullie Street show each week with Caff, Pebs and Marcus Wagner? And he's barely been mentioned, always rates high based on fantasy footy points though.

Viola was more a half back last year and looked ok reading the play well. This year he's really beefed up and seems to be playing as an undersized KPD.

I am starting to suspect that we 'hid' Wills and are still trying to keep his performances under the radar for now.....anyone have another theory?

Or Maybe he's the new Kyle Martin!!!

In no particular order, Wills, Phillips, White, Crocker, Macaffer from the AFL listers.

From the VFL, Kelly, Hellier, Moloney, Hore, Collopy.

I felt Crocker and Phillips where 2 that far where our Bests

Thanks MB
Couldn't make it today.
Like the thought of Wyatt kicking a few.
Will keep watching him in the future.
3 fade outs in a row is a bit of a worry.6
we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest.

given whom we had in our back six i thought it was a commendable effort to hold on today. they held on despite the threat of being overrun.

Just read through the lot.

Thanks MB again for a wonderful report. C

aught the radio for parts of the first half but was busy in the garden with roots & leaves.

Thanks Stui & DTM too

In my view, Crocker is quite skilled but needs more fitness & concentration. Too early just yet to promote. A lot to like & a lot for his to develop - but he knows where the goals are & is a clever & good mark.

Wills is a big boy as is Sier - both solid buggers. Wills is not doing anything wrong & doing a lot right to get noticed. Is his pace OK?

And we just seem to keep losing rotations. What's the word on Blair?

Vertically challenged. Sorry, 2 words

Hopefully he's OK
