We've certainly struggled against Sandy of late (but then we've struggled with a few teams in our short VFL history).
Of our four wins over the Zebs, two of them came under Gavin Brown in 2009 and 2010. Since then, we've lost seven out of the last nine, with our only other wins coming under Tapps in 2013 and 2015.
It's also gotten quite personal at times (their sniping tactics in the 2014 elimination final which started an all-in brawl still sticks out in my memory). Even our captain has acknowledged that we have a bit of a rivalry going with them.
Hopefully we can cobble together enough of a side to knock them off this week. Marsh hopefully back in, no carry-over players needed, guys like Witts and Aish and Goodyear back in, hopefully Ferguson and Close as well.
