Short review;

Senior listed players/rookies;

3. Macaffer; Had played well the last few weeks, but he was just there tonight, didn't do much at all.
15; Witts; Played the first half like a player who had missed 6 weeks. Had a crack, laid some tackles and would have won plenty of hitouts. Second half was better. Took a few marks, shanked a few kicks but was more involved. Needs another week in the VFL at least.
17; Nathan Brown; Didn'y play on McCartin much, Marsh and the VFL defenders were left that task. Then did his hammy in the third term. Done for a month.
21; Phillips; Quite game from Tommy, but he used it well when he got it, developing well.
27; Goodyear; One of the best of the listed players, but that wasn't hard to do. Ran hard through the middle a few times and set up Ash Close for a goal. Probably our match highlight.
33; Wills; Hurt his calf/lower leg early on but got it strapped and played on. Did ok, won a fair bit of hard ball but not brilliant tonight, probably due to the injury.
35; Sier; One of his better VFL games I thought, would say 15 possessions or so (guessing). Won clearances and laid some nice tackles. Slowly showing better signs.
41; Golds; Best game for us, not that it's saying much, played off half back and looked ok for once, not brilliant though.

Most of our best were VFL listed players. Close, Knight, Smith, Hellier, Moloney etc.

Cloke, Gault, Wyatt did not play.

Cheers Mattys

Although it doesn't give us much hope if we need to make some changes going to Brisbane.

These injuries have doomed us.

Aish was appalling today and Id hate for him to have to take that form to his old running ground. Gee having Crisp and Aish both out of touch going back to Brisbane could be a disaster. And Levi (as a part of that deal) is also in need of better touch. Hopefully Beams isn't going to regain his touch.
