Equivalent game last year Abbott announced himself and DeGoey had a ripper. De Goey debuted the following week if I remember correctly. It was atrocious weather.
Hopefully this game we can get through without losing 1 or 2 to injury during the game. Getting a bit tired of getting over run when we lose rotations.

Correct. De Goey had actually debuted in round 1 in the AFL but he was the sub.jackcass wrote:Equivalent game last year Abbott announced himself and DeGoey had a ripper. De Goey debuted the following week if I remember correctly. It was atrocious weather.
His full debut was the following week after the Geelong VFL match against Richmond in round 7.

We don't have many left, do we? Pretty much anyone who can stand up or is in any kind of form is already in the AFL team.thompsoc wrote:I might go.
went there for the practice game this year.
Don't think there will be many AFL collingwood players there.
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

Team is out...
Collingwood
B: Jonathon Marsh, Lachlan Howe, Tim Golds
HB: Jordan Kelly, Darrean Wyatt, James Aish
C: Tom Phillips, Rupert Wills, Brayden Sier
HF: Jackson Viola, Ash Cloke, Brent Macaffer
F: Jack Hellier, Travis Cloke, Matthew Smith
Foll: Jarrod Witts, Ben Moloney, Matthew Goodyear
Int (from): Jordan Collopy, Ryan Pendlebury, Nick Gray, Gus Borthwick, Marty Hore, Angelo Rambaldi, Will Knight, Campbell Lane**, Dale Hinkley*
Cloke and Wyatt back.
Also good to see Trav has drafted his long-lost brother Ash in to play his first game. Gotta catch 'em all, I suppose. Seems Close has had to make way for him, though...
Pendlebury back for the first time this year. Good to have him back, to support our long-standing policy of having all our good players playing from the half back line in order to drown the opposition in Rebound 50s...

Updated the OP with some more goodies, namely an actual link to the video streaming page on the VFL website, another radio link and some more info around that and some details regarding the footy double-header that this game will form part of as well...

Before the season, we would have been expecting that sentence to be used only in the senior pre-game thread after all 3 had been out injured.jackcass wrote:Good to see Pendles back. Still no Gault. Team looks better with Pendles, Cloke and Aish included.
Viola named at HF, has he played there before?
