Probably needs to come in for Cox, but really he needs more than good ruckwork to cement a spot in our best side.RudeBoy wrote:Witts dominated the ruck and must come in to the senior side next week.
Marsh was terrific in defence, except for a few wayward disposals which were costly. If he could overcome this weakness in his game he'd be a terrific player for us.
Well done boys!

Is it a bit of a worry that only one AFL listed player kicked a goal?
Overall how was Clokes game? Sounds like he was involved a little bit, but couldn't convert on the scoreboard. How many shots did he miss?
I must admit that it was refreshing to hear that Aish showed some good signs. Although it sounds like MB thinks he was not quite in our top 4 or 5 players. I really hope Aish just keeps improving and gets some confidence.
It also sounds like Jonathon Marsh and Witts had a big role today. An AFL call up could be very soon. We'll see how Cox goes tonight.
How was Brent Macaffers game? I think the club will delist him at seasons end, but if no one throws him a lifeline, I think we should rookie draft him.
Didn't read much on Phillips, Wills, Sier or Goodyear. Did they all play?
Again, its very refreshing to hear of a win and that some of our AFL guys played well.

I'm a Witts fan but you're promoting a guy one game in, after a month out and the seniors yet to play? I'd say that was improbable even without Cox, Grundy and White having good games. Great to see he had a good return though.RudeBoy wrote:Witts dominated the ruck and must come in to the senior side next week.

Sier and Goodyear did. Wills I believe was a late omission and Phillips was the travelling emergency for the seniors.Presti35 wrote:Is it a bit of a worry that only one AFL listed player kicked a goal?

Cloke looked out of sorts still.
Aish - see my post above.
Caff - yes, if he can't get a senior game with this injury list his time as a primary list player is done.
