We now sit 5th on the ladder. Equal on points, but percentage from 3rd. (Roughly 40%).
We are one win behind 2nd and 2 wins behind 1st. (And % of course).
In saying that of course, we are only one win inside the top 8.
Here's our next 5 weeks:
Casey. (Away) (1st on the ladder).
BYE.
Richmond. (Home - VP) (13th)
Blues. (Home - Holden) (11th)
Roosers. (Away). (Last)
After that we go to Frankston (2nd last) before another BYE.
With the AFL season looking glum with finals all but out of reach, can we salvage something from 2016 and make a run for the VFL Premiership?
What do the VFL regulars think? Can we do it?
Can we?

Feels like we've been winning by the skin of our teeth.
But we're winning.
Next two against the bottom 2 teams, so hopefully we dont drop a silly game.
It'd be nice to lift our % over 100 in the next couple games.
I think a top 4 spot is a real possibility. And if you finish top 4, you're a chance.

North Ballarat and Frankston in the next two weeks, then our last bye. If we're serious, we win both these games. And win them well.
Then after the break, we enter our 5 week run to the finish line, which will also double as a stress test of our credentials against the other contenders. In order, we have...
- Geelong (H)
- Coburg (H)
- Port Melbourne (H)
- Box Hill (A)
- Footscray (A)
Geelong have improved and they're now getting good players back as they build towards September. Coburg likewise are a better side this year and could jag a spot in the 8. Port Melbourne are in better nick than the early part of the season. Box Hill are wavering a little bit, as Hawthorn's injuries have robbed them of good players (still think they can make it, though). And Footscray at Whitten Oval are always a steep ask.
But, if we can sweep all 5, to go with the coming fortnight, then not only do we finish top 4, but top 2 is then well and truly on the cards...
