Sunday's squad:

Collingwood
B: 55. R Pendlebury 45. J Frost 41. T Golds
HB: 34. A Toovey 43. A Oxley 61. N Gray
C: 27. M Goodyear 33. R Wills 66. D Hinkley
HF: 6. T Goldsack 53. J Hellier 3. B MacAffer
F: 63. G Borthwick 44. C Gault 62. L Ferguson
R: 15. J Witts 54. J Collopy 58. B Moloney
Int: 67. M Smith 65. L Howe 60. J Kelly 74. J Viola 75. M Alessi 56. J Taylor 70. M Hore 71. A Rambaldi
23P 77. C Lane

Once again, no Darrean Wyatt. Or for that matter, Michael Still or Ash Close, so our talls up forward will be ragtag in Gault and Howe.

Jeremy Taylor back into the side for the first time this year.

Campbell Lane playing his first game as 23rd man, after snaring a couple of games earlier in the year inside the first 22 as an academy player.

10 AFL-listed players...

Be interesting to see if the Tigas get Bachelor and Griffiths after they were late withdrawals today or if they just lose Broad and Townsend.

Griffiths was out sick and Bachelor came down with a back/hamstring complaint.

I wouldn't think the Tiges would get either of them tomorrow...

Game Day for the VFL Pies.

Starting today, the draw now opens up into a month-long sweet spot, with four games against four very beatable opponents (literally the entire bottom 4 of the ladder).

Sweep all four (as we should) and we can lock away a fourth consecutive VFL finals campaign before we turn for home into our final bye on the weekend of July 22nd-24th, with ample scope beyond that to make a play for the top 4.

Here's Richmond's side, with their two late inclusions from yesterday italicised...

Richmond
B 74. T Kruse 25. T Chaplin 51. S Darley
HB 31. O Markov 39. N Drummond 46. J Castagna
C 60. T Langford 15. A Moore 35. N Broad
HF 44. A Marcon 71. N Mellington 40. D Butler
F 41. M Chol 34. L McBean 36. C Moore
R 20. I Maric 54. J Ballard 21. J Townsend
Int 78. D Coffield 55. R Bathie 59. A Morris64. T Silvestro 68. M Troutbeck 66. G Gleeson 75. K Williams 58. J Aarts
23P 61. J Fletcher

I see Shaun Hampson suffered an knee injury yesterday? If so, then with Richmond playing on Friday night, surely they pull Maric as insurance...?

I'm very much looking forward to this game. In particular, I'm excited to see Collingwood select 5 decoy forwards to support the Ferginator. There must be a genuine prospect that Toovey, Oxley and Frost will be thrown forward at times to increase our scoring avenues.

Can a decoy really be a decoy when they're actually not that good anyway...?

I actually think switching from AffleckBats to ComicBats is a move towards the light, myself (when you consider just how dark and brutal AffleckBats was...)

A small move, a move akin to moving the dial from 10 to 9 or 8.5, but a move nevertheless...
