So, almost all of these seem to be Muslims killed by other Muslims in conflicts (typically civil wars) in Muslim countries. No doubt many of these are inexcusable atrocities but I'm not sure the list proves anything much (save that bad people do particularly bad things in wars).

If this was 25 years ago, there'd be a whole lot of Muslims on the receiving end of similar (and worse) atrocities in the former Yugoslavia.

If this was 50 years ago, there'd be a whole lot of Palestinians on the receiving end of Israeli violence and heaps of Vietnamese murdering each other (with foreign help).
