Somebody's nuffed that. The VFL has the same "cross over" finals system as the AFL. The winner of the 2nd Semi crosses over to face the winner of the 1st Qualifier.

I'd imagine it would be along the lines of if the Dogs win on Friday night, they wouldn't want their VFL side playing on a Sunday before a Friday night prelim.

I always thought it would have been the opposite but I see that's not true, would have made more sense to me anyway to give both teams a 7 day break heading into the prelim instead of 1 gets an 8 day and the other a 6 day break of the Semi Finalists.

Although I do believe they don't like playing in Sydney on a Friday night?
