Well the coaches and almost everybody else disagrees with me, but my thoughts are without Adams we were cooked against Hawthorn, whereas without Pendlebury we might still have won (but probably not), so my votes went to Adams. As for the Heater trade I still miss him, but I always thought years 1-3 GWS would be ahead of the trade and years 4 onwards we would be ahead of the trade. On that basis a straight swap between the two was fair to me and I couldn't understand why GWS held out for so long wanting more.

It's Pretty Similar to the Schwass for Grant Trade from the 90'sMJ23 wrote:I stopped thinking about the "who got the best" out of the Adams / Shaw trade a while ago.
Shaw wouldn't be playing the way he is now with us IMO and doubt he would in any other Vic club. Took a big shake up for him to wake up. He has done well in GWS however he is starting to get caught out a bit this year and I think players might push him out next year - we will see.
Even so, Adams is now a vice captain and will be playing footy after Shaw has left. He would go close to being in the first 5 picked and seems to be maturing as a player and leader every game he plays. After an up and down first year he has been solid since moving into A-grade territory.
This trade is a win - win. Good for both clubs and I think ultimately we will end up getting more out of Adams than we would have out of Shaw when he is done. That doesn't mean we win the trade, just that what GWS needed at the time was what we were able to give them. Which was more than what they gave up with the midfield depth they have.

Taylor Adams disposal
You can just piss right off. Absolutely shocking disposal has cost us yet another game.
The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after.

Perhaps his creative genius, perhaps there is another reason.Raw Hammer wrote:Why does he think he can kick a football? Why is he taking shots on goal or passingI50??? Eff off and hand ball. That last kick to JDG when he had an easy hand ball over the top for a running goal is the last straw. He needs a spell in the reserves.

Lol, been one of our best players for the year to date. Would be in the top 5 in the BnF easily.Raw Hammer wrote:Why does he think he can kick a football? Needs to learn to play within his limits a bit more, but calling for him to play reserves is just eye rolling.
