I believe he does a lot of in and under stuff that isn't very obvious but yes I don't think he is in form.
A lot of people rate him high and he doesn't lack courage.
Above my pay grade to work out if another could do better.

Trade bait?
The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after.

I believe that the coaching staff love his effort. He is one of our best 22

He needs to stop those across the 50m arc kicks because they never come off.

Give the guy a break.
As soon as he gets more footy in him he will be back to his best.
He is a hard nut, we need hard nuts.

I thought he should have won the Copeland last year, but apart from his game against Geelong and his second half this week, he's been bloody ordinary this year.

Hasn't hit any sort of form yet. It will come. We need a big game from him on Queens BD. Melb are the best team at contested ball.

His kicking is still a worry, he will always have a real go, but Shaw will always be Magpie royalty.

Certainly in danger of being overtaken by others.
Yes, he is a hard nut and I love his aggression BUT he needs to bring more than that! Lift!
