Some of these youngsters do look promising so it would be nice to see what they can do and if they are up to senior football just yet. If we win on the weekend it is a bonus if we lose well we still have practise matches in which we can use to prepare for the season.

I remember that game clearly! Nick Davis did hes knee trying to go for half a hanger LMAO! I think Wirapunda took the ball from the back line and had one last sniff at winning it for the Weagles!

Josh Fraser hammered a goal home from outside 50 I think! Am I thinkin of the right game where I talk about Fraser ands Wirapunda? I know its the one where ***k Davis did hes knee! I HUNG MY FLAG OUT TEH WINDOW OF THE CAR AFTER THE MATCH! LOL!

New rules a mixed bag: Malthouse

The new trial rules in place for the 2004 Wizard Home Loans Cup are a mixed bag according to respected Collingwood coach Michael Malthouse.

Malthouse, one of the most experienced AFL coaches, is strongly in favour of the new rule in relation to boundary throw-ins but against another of the trial rules that allows play to continue if a shot for goal hits one of the goal posts and bounces back into play.

And surprisingly Malthouse said he was also in favour of the new rule which restricts all coaches to sending out, via the runner, just five messages per quarter.

I just hope we put in a good one, cos I'm going to see the game... and since us pie supporters in the west dont get to see our boys in the flesh often, I really need them to kick some eagle bums... besides, I've been opening my mouth already..... when you work in a place thats 70% eagles, is that brave, or stupid?... it'll shut them up for a few weeks anyway.. I'm looking forward to seeing the rookies, and taz in full flight...

BTW, to those West Australian Collingwood supporters, make sure you pre-book and reserve your ticket because apparently this is a fully ticketed game. So, if you don't want to miss out, buy your ticket before the game because there will be no General Admission.

Joel, Im pretty sure there will be gate sales there on Saturday night. A couple of days ago they said only 9,000 seats had been pre sold, that would leave plenty of room for seats at the game.

Interesting to see no Chris Tarrant - Lets hope the rumour about him being injured is not true.

Well if its a groin injury some other activities besides football may need to be prevented.
