Nice smother pies in the forward pocket, Crocker gathers with an out stretched arm, one two with Lynch, kick towards Goldsack held, free, misses from 30m our slight angle.

String of handballs across 50 after Daicos kicked it high, Hetherington eventually goes inside and finds Wells, long kick, Wells nonchalantly turns his back, straight through the middle

Dogs turnover repeat efforts from Wills, Hetherington misses.

Dogs end to end - 5 point play?

And another dogs goal, hopefully we don’t give away a heap in the last 5-10 minutes again

 I hope the person who contemplated putting money on the Pies to land the AFL-VFL double this year decided against it.

Mihocek has been reported in the AFL. If he is rubbed out did Reid play well enough to be considered as a replacement?

From the half I watched - not well enough this week, but he's marking and moving well though. I suspected last week that Reid wouldn't be so dominant with less space and that proved to be the case albeit our delivery inside 50 was terrible and didn't help him. Would be a more dangerous than Goldsack and while I don't think Mihocek has anything to worry about Reid would be the replacement.

Thank you to Barrackers and CoastPie for keeping us up to date with the VFL.

Disappointing result. How did Sier play?

Sier along with Wills and Wells looked a class above. Ran the game out, but I'd probably give him another week.

Wells also played the full match (not sure if this was planned or influenced by the early injuries to T Brown and Madgen) spending considerable amounts of time at half forward.

Appleby had a much better game this week, more of the ball and some nice defensive efforts - often against a much bigger opponent.
