Casey in commemorative Springvale jumpers, which explains the change of player numbers. They must have just got one set of lower numbers printed and allocated them to fit. Both side wearing blue freeze MND socks.

Note: I'm watching at home, between other things, but will post score updates when I can. Casey have the first 2 goals, they lead 14-0.

Casey have another one, we've only had 9 disposals across whole the team, so really need to get our hands on the footy.

Very nice goal to a kid called cameron (surname). Got the mark near half back, short pass, ran on and received the handpass back, ran on and goaled from 45.

Reid makes up for splitting Alex Woodward in half in a pack, by taking the ball out of the ruck and snapping a nice on his left from 35 out.

6 minutes gone in the 2nd, we've added a behind. 30-13 the score. Scrappy affair, lots of physicality, skills aren't great.

I've liked the look of Tyler Brown, certainly putting his body in.

Kick towards Reid holds up in the wind, Hustwaite gathers, off to Gallucci, snap goal. Much needed after we'd had repeat inside 50s despite kicking against the breeze.

31-19

So after attacking the forward 50 but kicking everything to Brayden Pruess who was just camped there, finally got some movement and a snap to Gallucci is a goal.

31-19, 12 1/2 gone. We've kicked 3 of the last 4

Goal to Melbourne. That's 5:8:38 to 3:1:19

We seem to be kicking against the strong wind this quarter and are trying to spear low passess into it, which generally isn't working.

Watching IQ, he really needs to find the handle on the ball, he's fumbling something shocking.

Shaz has been getting a bit of it and showing no signs of caution about his knee. Broomhead has popped up a few times.

While I've been typing, another goal to Casey, 6:9:45
