Why all the negative nellies ?

We will get some players back soon.

We are probably doing high training loads to be peaking when it matters.

We got this.

Keep the faith guys

No words, though by God the yellow maggots made their presence felt at games end. that's for sure. Bitterly disappointing though, we are in a slump, no doubt of it, and unless we can get back the likes of Howe, Langdon, Taylor adams, quickly, im not sure if we can get out of this mire we are in. Stephenson and Howe should have kept their traps shut, did no damn good being honest, anyway.! Stephenson is costing us bigtime now. Time to have a few jim beams, dull the pain !

We are a meek, mild, middle of the road football club

Illicit drugs, Performance enhancing drugs, gambling breaches, bikies at training, tattoos etc.... The response tonight said so much about what our culture, self respect and brotherhood amidst the brethren isn't. Simply ashamed.

Buckley needs to be held accountable for this sh!t. How a team of ‘A’ graders can put on this crap for 8 weeks straight is borderline laughable.

The fact that, yet again, despite how crap we played, we were in a position to win and win comfortably, would have yet again papered over the horrid cracks.

CBF anymore quite frankly. We’ve been figured out (whatever that means) and have been exposed for the frauds we are.

Even last year, we made the top 4 by beating every team below us. In the finals, we were average @ West Coast (despite somehow nearly winning), average vs GWS after our 3.2.20 vs 0.0.0 opening quarter blitz, before steamrolling Richmond. After the first 20 mins when every kick turned to gold in the GF (5.0.30), we were pretty sh!t. Unfortunately, our worst fears have been realised. We suck.

Never as a player & never as a Coach.

End of...
If we have to rebuild again to win a flag, because Buckley failed, that vindicates Big Headed Ed's mistake of replacing Malty when he did.
Malthouse was a narcissistic flog, but we need a coach who puts the fear of Christ into the players. I'll nominate Craig Bellamy.

Tough to find 5 players to give votes to tonight.

Quaynor played very well, as did most of the backline. Scharenberg largely kept us in it, seemed to intercept the majority of their inside 50's especially during the first half (when there were many). Decent run from Crisp. Moore and Roughead did their job without standing out.

Pendlebury lifted when it mattered, as he has done so many times.

Beyond that, there weren't many great performances.

Treloar accumulated a lot of footy, but really wasn't damaging and had some shocking disposals. Really cost us tonight. Sidebottom and Phillips got a bit of it, but really lacked any spark and didn't create many opportunities.

De Goey did some great things, but really didn't find the footy given how much time he spent in the midfield. He and Sier were underwhelming, and really should have dominated in the centre with Grundy. Grundy, was disappointing. Started well, but really looked to have lost some of his competitive spirit later in the game. Very disheartening.

Brown and Daicos showed a bit, but can't be carried in the side together with their inexperience.

Cox is not playing well. One of his worst matches in a long time. Has really struggled since injury. But he would be hard to drop, as there's no one else to take his spot at the moment.

Elliott quiet, but always has a quiet game following a lengthy lay off. Will be better for the run, as they say.

Not sure what the solution is. We just seem to be playing stale footy. Too conservative, keeping to the boundary. We actually looked a bit better in the last, when there was in inboard kick to Mihocek on the flank, who went further inboard to Mayne at the top of the 50 (those two players were serviceable, fwiw). Too little, too late, however.

How can anyone claim that our players lack heart after last year?? Nothing adds up right now. It is a mindset issue clearly. The confidence has gone, and for something else has gone as well. Bucks excoriating our team publicly. We make an effort this time, but cannot control the ball by hand. Totally bereft of the lightning handball skills we saw earlier in the season, and totally lacking in any confidence to move the ball. It is not inherent lack of talent. Somethiing else is wrong. Injuries play a significant role of course, but most of our injuries are in defence, and that is precisely where we held up. Nor is it just because Stepho is missing, because the rot set in while he was still there. Something else ails our team. I hope that, whatever it is, we can set it right.

What could Bucks possibly say after that performance. I'm starting to think something is really rotten in Denmark
