"It is unlikely that ... Aaron Mooy will be on the move from Brighton and Hove Albion in the January transfer window.

While it would be possible for a club to purchase Mooy from his parent club Huddersfield Town this month, sources close to the player indicated he is happy to remain on the English south coast and continue building on his recent strong showings.

While Mooy and Brighton are happy to carry on as is until the end of the season the complication could be that Mooy remains Huddersfield's player, and they could choose to sell him elsewhere should they receive a satisfactory offer.

Huddersfield bought Mooy from Manchester City for just under $17 million in June 2017.

The former Melbourne City star is contracted to Huddersfield until 2022, with his loan at Brighton ending in May 2020."
