"Trump is now averaging about 59 false claims per week for the 31 weeks we have checked at CNN since July 8, so both of these two weeks were better than his usual. They were still, of course, highly dishonest by any non-Trump standard."

Of course. He lies much more frequently than that, now - but there are so many porkie-pies from him that they're struggling to count them all.

Here’s the counterpoint to the WHO’s supposed pro-China bias; a little reminder that the US has the IMF by the balls. I guess we won’t be hearing any outrage about that:

Not sure its a counterpoint to the negative Chinese influence on the WHO; which has been going on for a few years now.David wrote:Here’s the counterpoint to the WHO’s supposed pro-China bias; a little reminder that the US has the IMF by the balls. I guess we won’t be hearing any outrage about that:

Endorsing TCM was and is a bad move by the WHO; considering whats used and the lack of the same scientific oversight required by mainstream medicine.

presumably this 'cure' promoted by the dear leader Xi who must not be criticized is a viable solution.
Personally I'm not real keen on the use of bear bile, however I did see a goat in the paddock down the road but I'm unsure as to the correct method of administering its horn, besides the goat wasn't that keen on loaning it to me.
However since this is the orange man bad thread I thought a new treatment of body parts might be a worthy contender :
A lock of Trumps hair
Mucus from Mike Pence
one fingernail from Alex Jones
all mixed together with the contents of a urinal from Yankees stadium.

Yep. Like the articles says, finding herbs or plants that have medicinal properties and researching that is one thing. If you want to let someone poke lots of needles into you to open your energy flow, knock ya self out.
If you believe it's OK to kill a Rhino for it's horn because the horn, being long and hard, will help you get an erection you're an absolute waste of perfectly good carbon atoms. Traditional Chinese medicine is bogus and for a supposed international health authority to endorse it is rubbish.
In regard to your recipe, I'd concede that the contents of a Yankee Stadium urinal would likely kill anything it came in contact with. You could probably generate a lucrative market by creating a drink from that and calling it "Instant reincarnation" but you wouldn't get a lot of repeat business.

Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.
Meanwhile, while Nero plays irrelevant tunes on the fiddle, the total number of coronavirus cases in the US is going to go over 500,000 overnight, our time (well, actually, we know it is actually 2.5 Million cases, as I write - but let's go with their fictitious numbers).
Speaking of dear leaders who must not be criticised.

There is absolutely no, zero, nadda reason for China to continue to cruelly farm bears for bile There are many inexpensive and readily available herbal and synthetic alternatives to bear bile but because they don't give a bloody continental about animal welfare or inflicting cruelty they refuse to outlaw it!!Pi wrote:Not sure its a counterpoint to the negative Chinese influence on the WHO; which has been going on for a few years now.David wrote:Here’s the counterpoint to the WHO’s supposed pro-China bias; a little reminder that the US has the IMF by the balls. " Tanreqing includes bear bile which contains the bile acid ursodeoxycholic acid or UDCA. Synthetic UDCA has been produced and used across the world for decades to treat a variety of medical issues.

IMHO the WHO are useless and corrupt like all the UN agencies! And Trump is absolutely spot on - their desire to protect China especially the ridiculous : no need for measures that “unnecessarily interfere with international travel and trade” statement in Feb in response to travel bans was just one example of it. Don't get me started on the TCM approval!!
Hope he pulls funding and we should too - the world won't notice that they aren't around such is their general incompetence!

It's pathetic watching Captain Coronavirus scurrying about like an errand boy for Saudi Arabia, Russia and the fossil fuels industry as citizens drop like flies.
If only he'd had made the sane decision to move the country away from climate-destabilising, autocrat-funding, terrorist-sustaining oil instead of feverishly building a fake industry reliant on dictatorship-set prices, the present crisis could've been used to drive major global reform.
Instead, the oil-distorted nutter states are, for want of a better term, holding the twat over a barrel. Everything this moron touches turns to shite and always will because it never even enters the narcissist's mind to solve problems bigger than themselves. Instead, he took the cheap, dirty money to boost his own standing and here we are again.
